About Hong
With 15 years in software development specializing in web apps, I’m proficient in .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions. I enjoy designing app architectures and building scalable, maintainable solutions from A to Z, always prioritizing developer experience. Now exploring how AI accelerates development without compromising quality.
Why I Blog?
I got into tech during university as a binary thinker fixated on 1s and 0s. I majored in computing security, but it wasn’t a big deal yet, back when even Facebook ran on plain HTTP.
Career options were scarce, so I started with .NET when ASP.NET was one of the hottest technologies out there. I’ve loved watching tech evolve ever since, putting all my effort into mastering it, focusing on .NET while adding frontend skills like JQuery, Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript to become a fullstack developer.
I spent years maintaining desktop apps with VB.NET, like nurturing a reliable old <html> tag that always delivers. Then I shifted to Single Page Apps with Angular and client-server architecture still my preferred approach, even as tech keeps advancing.
I’ve witnessed the changes from monoliths to microservices and modular monoliths. Now, with AI on the rise, app development is much faster. As of 2026-01-01, AI can’t replace developers, but how can we use it to accelerate our work while sticking to best practices? What even are those best practices? That’s where I team up with experienced “rubber ducks” 🐥🐥 (those trusty coding confidants) to share our real-world insights for free, no BS, no forced sign-ups!
I really want to see how far, we as a season developer can go. With the rise of the AI, will we get replaced? Can we ride on the wave of AI to get better? This isn’t our first tech shift, nor the last that we need to learn something new.

How I Can Help to Ship Better, Together?
I help getting your code from laptop to prod fast and smooth, with real-talk guides devs actually use.
-
Junior to Senior Developers
Help writing clean, readable code and staying current with new tech without getting lost in hype, so you can move confidently from “just shipping” to owning features end to end. -
Application Architects
Turn big-picture ideas into practical, scalable designs that your teams can actually implement, so architecture stops being an ivory tower and starts shipping to production. -
DevOps Engineers
Nail “you build it, you run it” with reliable continuous delivery pipelines and deployment practices that keep changes fast, safe, and boring. -
Teams Everywhere
Shift from finger-pointing over failures to collaborating on fast, high-quality delivery, with shared ownership from commit to production.
